Sasikumar, who was on his way home with his friend at the back of high-tech park, was robbed of his mobile phone. The police conducted a vehicle checking on Udumalai Road and caught a gang of six dacoits related to this case.

On 13.11.2022, at around 10.30 pm, he was on his way home with his friend Murugesan behind high tech park on Trichy National Highway in Coimbatore. Six persons on three two-wheelers intercepted the two, threatened them, pushed Murugesan down and snatched sasikumar's mobile phone.
A case has been registered on the basis of a complaint lodged by Sasikumar at Palladam police station.
In this case, Palladam police were conducting a vehicle audit at the junction of Palladam Pollachi and Udumalai Road. Six persons on a two-wheeler were questioned on suspicion and all the six confessed to the crime of threatening Sasikumar and snatching his mobile phone.
Subsequently, the Palladam police arrested Kasiraman, Picchamuthu, Isakipandi, Manikandan, Suresh and Rajesh Kumar from Palladam in connection with the case and recovered the stolen items.
Police seized three two-wheelers used by the six arrested in connection with the robbery.
