Forest Dept. officials rescue 10-ft. long python found in residential area in Kuppepalayam

After receiving information that a 10-ft.long python entered the Kuppepalayam residential area in Coimbatore, the Forest Department reached the spot and rescued the snake and released it into the forest area.



Coimbatore: More than 500 families live in Kuppepalayam near Thondamuthur in Coimbatore district. A 10-ft. long python reportedly entered the residential area on Wednesday night and caused fear and panic among the villagers there. Shocked by the sight of the python, the locals immediately informed the Forest Department.



Based on the information, the Forest department led by Forest Officer Gopal reached the spot. The 10-ft. python which entered the residential area in Kuppepalayam was rescued after a brief search and released into the dense forest.

The incident of a 10-feet-long python entering the residential area created panic and panic among the people of the area.
