Protest against opening of liquor shop in residential area in Tirupur - Communist Party of India protests

The Communist Party of India (CPI) staged a protest against the newly opened liquor shop in a residential area in Tirupur.



Tirupur: A new liquor shop was opened in Lakshmi Nagar area of Tirupur without any prior notice.



The public and the Communist Party of India (CPI) have appealed to the district administration, legislators and MPs to shift the liquor shop to another place.



The Communist Party of India (CPI) staged a sit-in protest demanding that the liquor shop be removed as it would affect women passing through the area and school and college students.
