BJP State President Annamalai receives 'darshan' at Kottai Easwaran temple

The BJP State President had a 'darshan' at the Kottai Easwaran temple in the Ukkadam area of Coimbatore after which he enquired with the temple priests about the car cylinder explosion incident. More than 100 policemen were deployed for security at the Kottai Easwaran Temple in connection with the visit of the BJP State President, Annamalai.



Coimbatore: Coimbatore's car cylinder explosion in front of the Kottai Eswaran Temple near Ukkadam on October 23, just a day ahead of Diwali, sent huge shockwaves across the country. The NIA officials are currently investigating the matter.



Various Hindu organizations, including the BJP and the Hindu People's Party are performing special poojas and prayers, in gratitude for a major disaster being averted by the gods.



On Monday morning, the BJP State President had a 'darshan of Sami' at the Kottai Easwaran temple.



Many BJP leaders including the Hindu People's Party Chief, Arjun Sampath and many other members of the Hindu People's Party were present.



Also, in Coimbatore, a joint prayer was conducted at the temple on behalf of the BJP Women's Wing where members recited the Kandha Sashti Kavasam. More than 100 policemen were deployed for security at the Kottai Easwaran Temple in connection with the visit of the BJP State President, Annamalai.
