Second season in Ooty begins for 2022

Thousands of tourists come to Ooty from all over India every day to enjoy the flowers, and since the second season of Udhagai began this month, the Government Botanical Garden alone has received over one lakh tourists till last night.


Udhagai: The three months of September, October and November have come and it is a delight for the tourists as they enjoy the second season in Ooty. Widely considered the queen of mountains in India, the tourists are welcomed with large selection of flowers in botanical garden. As usual, our Udhagai region has started to flourish this year as usual in the pleasant weather conditions. The second season of Ooty, which started on October 3, has now caught the attention of more and more tourists.

Thousands of tourists come to Ooty every day to enjoy the flowers, and since the second season of Udhagai began this month, the Government Botanical Garden alone has received over one lakh tourists till last night. Residents of Udhagai mandal say this has given them more freshness.



Apart from Tamil Nadu, tourists from various states including Karnataka and Kerala have also flocked to Ooty. They danced and enjoyed playing on the huge grass banks in the park, and also took a selfie in front of the flowers to express their happiness.

In the last one week alone, 1,00,000 tourists visited the Udhagai Botanical Garden due to continuous holidays like quarterly exam holidays, Ayudha Pooja, Dussehra and the pleasant weather conditions in the second season in Ooty. Most of them also visited various tourist places including Udhagai Boat House, Pine Forest Dodda Petta and other tourist destinations.

This has made the traders and retailers of Ooty, who depend on tourists to run businesses, happy.
