District Collector invites school and college students for elocution competition to mark Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary

The first prize of Rs 5,000, second prize of Rs 3,000 and third prize of Rs 2,000 will be awarded to the winners of the elocution competition to be held on October 12 at the Collectorate auditorium in Tiruppur


Tirupur: District Collector Vineeth has invited school and college students to participate in a speech competition to be held at the District Collectorate on the 12th of this month on the occasion of mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary.

The birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi is being celebrated across the country tomorrow (October 2). On this occasion, it has been announced that a speech competition will be held for school and college students in Tiruppur district.

Tirupur District Collector Vineeth said in a statement, "The Tamil Development Department of Tiruppur district is organizing elocution competitions for school and college students on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. It will be held on October 12 at 10 am at the collectorate.

In this, the school children will be given the title of "The India that Gandhi saw, in the footsteps of Gandhi, Unity in Diversity, India, India, india, etc."

Competitions are being held on the topics of Emman, Human Life, Gandhiji, The Test of Truth, Our Religion, The Life of Our Gandhiji from The Himalayas to Kanyakumari.

The top three school and college students will be awarded cash prizes of Rs 5,000, Rs 3,000 and Rs 2,000 respectively. A special prize of Rs.2,000 each will be given to two students of government schools.

Therefore, the students of schools and colleges in Tiruppur district can participate in this elocution competition and benefit from it.
