Passengers request Coimbatore-Pollachi train to run via Kinathukadavu during morning hours

The Coimbatore-Pollachi train service, which was operated via Kinathukadavu, was stopped due to the covid-19 pandemic, people said that those going to work were facing a lot of difficulties as it has not been resumed.


Coimbatore: Railway passengers have demanded that a train from Coimbatore to Pollachi via Kinathukadavu be operated in the morning hours.

Trains are operated from Coimbatore to Pollachi and Madurai via Kinathukadavu on a daily basis and to Tirunelveli on Fridays.

In this situation, the passenger train running from Coimbatore to Pollachi via Kinathukadavu has been stopped due to covid-19 pandemic. This caused a lot of inconvenience to the train passengers.



Now that the corona virus pandemic is over, the train service has not resumed. They have been demanding the resumption of train services between Coimbatore and Pollachi.

People in Kinathukadavu area said, Those going to work were facing a lot of difficulties if trains were not operated from Coimbatore to Pollachi via Kinathukadavu in the morning hours.

The train service has not been started despite repeated requests in this regard. The concerned authorities immediately accepted the demand of the people and requested them to resume coimbatore pollachi train service via Kinathukadavu they have been released.
