AIADMK's Pollachi V Jayaraman vows AIADMK will fight hard against the DMK in Lok Sabha elections to form next Govt.

Pollachi V Jayaraman expressed his faith in the people of Tamil Nadu saying that they were ready to oust DMK soon and that AIADMK will form the new Government with new vigour.

Tirupur: AIADMK's Tirupur City District Secretary and former Deputy Speaker Pollachi V Jayaraman met the media in Tirupur on Friday after a two-judge bench had ordered the quashing of the single judge's order on the AIADMK General Council.

Briefing the media on various AIADMK issues, Pollachi V Jayaraman said, "We have gone through many trials and the verdict now shows that AIADMK means Edappadi K Palaniswami. The AIADMK flag and 1.5 crore cadres of the AIADMK will now belong to the Interim General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami. No one else can claim ownership and no one can shout in protest anymore. There is no question of dual leadership anymore, we will always be under a single leadership."

Pollachi V Jayaraman also opined that the people of Tamil Nadu were ready to oust the DMK Government and that AIADMK will form the new Government with new vigour. "The Southern districts have always supported AIADMK and it is still the same now," he added.

To a question on Sasikala still using the AIADMK flag, Pollachi V Jayaraman stated that it was wrong for Sasikala to continue using the party flag even after the Court had directed on who should guide the party. "Action will be taken as per law," he added.

"The AIADMK will fight hard against the DMK in the field. The leadership was in a confused state thus far and now with the Interim General Secretary being Edappadi K Palaniswami, we will fight hard. Even if Panneer Selvam's side files an appeal from now on, it will be dismissed by the Supreme Court. The Interim General Secretary, Edappadi K Palaniswami will be a bulwark for the people of Tamil Nadu. The AIADMK alliance will win all the 40 seats in the Lok Sabha elections," reiterated Pollachi V Jayaraman.

AIADMK cadres garlanded MGR's statue and distributed sweets to the public to express their happiness at the Court's verdict.
