Coimbatore:The BJP district committee member Mythili Vino, who has been oustedfrom the primary membership of the party on disciplinary grounds has come out with strong allegations against the district unit of the party.

In a letter written to the BJP district president Uthama Balaji, the ousted BJP functionary poured out her heart and wondered whether people who have lots of money could reach leadership positions in the party and raised several pertinent questions.

In the meantime, Mythili Vino who has met up with Minister Senthil Balaji is expected to join the DMK formally by tomorrow.

Mythiili Vino has stated in the letter, that even though she had worked for the party for 27 years and held positions in the Women's wing of the party at district and state levels, she was forced to take the decision to quit the party due to the district leadership of the party.

While stating that she had taken part in various agitations for the party and led the growth of the party in the district,at a time when BJP was not popular here and there were none to work at district level. She also allegedthat she had strived hard particularly for the growth of the women's wing tirelessly.

In a strongly worded allegation, she had said that the only moneyed people could reach high positions in the BJP today and wondered whether the next president would be multi-millionaire like the present incumbent who is a millionaire too.

While the committed party workers are neglected, the party organizers pay money and arrange for people to attend huge functions, Mythili Vino further alleged in her letter.

Mythili has also opined that such a tendency would not help the growth of the party, as many are disheartened by the party's move of discarding growing of the party members.
