EPS tried to betray the PM. Soon, AIADMK will be in the hands of OPS - K. Selvaraj AIADMK District Secretary (Urban)

Addressing the media, K.Selvaraj, District Secretary (Urban) and supporter of OPS faction said that EPS is the sole reason for the 2021 electoral deafeat of the part and the KP Munusamy has no local standi to speak ill about O. Panneerselvam.

Coimbatore: The AIADMK faction led by Edapadi Palanisamy is the sole reason for the 2021 electoral defeat of the party, and the AIADMK leader KP Munusamy has no local standi to speak ill about O. Panneerselvam, said K. Selvaraj, District Secretary (Urban) and a prominent leader of AIADMK (OPS camp).

Addressing the media here, Selvaraj condemned the disrespectful manner in which O.Panneerselvam was targeted by Munusamy at Krishnagiri. While noting that the OPS held the post of CM for three times and served the party as its treasure for 17 long years, so it is condmenable that Munusamy had chosen to degrade OPS in such a manner.

While noting that OPS ,a loyalist of former CM Jayalalithaa hadn't indulged in splitting the party to get the post of CM in the past, he said it was also OPS, who nominated Munusamy for the post of Deputy Coordinator of the party.

While alleging that EPS is bent upon using people like Munusamy to target OPS, as the High Court had announced the general council meeting as null and void, Selvaraj alleged that EPS had spent thousands of crores to convene the general body meeting.

Selvaraj also alleged that OPS was not taken into confidence during the candidate selection during 2021 polls, but only Velumani and Thagamani were consulted. Due to their handinwork, a good 15 AIADMK candidates were defeated in the polls, Selvaraj noted.

"It was Munusamy who alleged that Edappadi Palanisamy was spoiling AIADMK, but lately, he had changed his tune" Kovai Selvaraj said.

While adding that the control of AIADMK would go to OPS soon, he said that it was OPS who had safeguarded the party money of Rs.760 crores.

Selvaraj aslo maintained that V.K. Sasikala is still a member of AIADMK and she will continue to be so.
