CM M.K. Stalin visit to Coimbatore: Road patch works, cleaning works expedited

Ahead of CM's visit to the city on August 24, road patch works are carried at several important stretches including Ukkadam, Pollachi road, Ramanathapuram, Race Course.


Coimbatore: In view of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin's visit to Coimbatoretomorrow, road repair and painting of flyover pillars have been taken up in many stretches and completed on a war footing in the city.

While the Ukkadam road is renovated at a fast-paced manner, other roads such as Kamarjar salai, Race course road, Nanjundapuram, Ramanathapuram, Pothanur and Pollachi main road have been spruced up.



Patchworks have been carried out in these stretches to set right damaged stretches with potholes. Pavements and centre medians are being spruced up with new painting and repair. Bushes and other undergrowth have been removed in these roads and stretches. Corporation Commissioner Prathap has ordered to expedite the work.



The Chief Minister is to address a massive Government function at Eachanari and distribute welfare measures to 1.9 lakh beneficiaries. The works for the erection of a huge stage is also going on at the said site.
