The meeting was held to discuss the need for speedy completion of the Periyanaickenpalayam Bridge and GN Mills Junction Bridge works.
Coimbatore: A coordination meeting with the Departmental officers was held under the leadership of the Coimbatore District Collector, G S Sameeran. The Coimbatore flyover works by the National Highways Department are underway in the Perianaickenpalayam area.
Speaking at the meeting held at the District Collector's office, G S Sameeran instructed that water pipes should be relocated to remove the encroachments in the areas to construct access roads to Coimbatore and Mettupalayam. He also said that the concerned Department officials have been instructed to take necessary measures and steps to speedily complete the works of Periyanaickenpalayam Bridge and GN Mills Junction Bridge, and bring them to public use.
The meeting was attended by District Revenue Officer Leela Alex, Divisional Engineer of National Highways Ramesh, Assistant Divisional Engineer Muralikumar, Tamil Nadu Drinking Water Board Officers, Tamil Nadu Electricity Board Officers and BSNL Company Officers.
