Breach in pipeline leads to waterlogging in Thadagam road

The residents appealed to the authorities to plug the breach in the pipeline and relay the battered road for the benefit of the residents using the Vadavalli - Edayarpalayam stretch.


Coimbatore: Due to a breach in one of the main drinking water supply networks has caused flooding in the roads in Edayarpalayam - Vadavalli segment of Thadagam road.



Drainage works were carried out in the area adjoining Indira nagar a week back and roads remained dug up due to this.



Adding woe to the road users is the breach of water supply pipeline which resulted in water logging in the road leading to Vadavalli.



The residents appealed to the authorities to plug the breach in the pipeline and relay the battered road for the benefit of the residents.

The residents also complained that water supply in Edayarpalayam has been carried out once in 15 days and this problem should be addressed by the authorities.
