'Entrepreneurship Development Cell' of Sri Ramakrishna College for women host ' Vaniga Vaibhav'


The budding women entrepreneurs of Sri Ramakrishna College of arts and Science are instilling in them with all skill sets required to transform into successful entrepreneurs after their graduation. In the intend of promoting entrepreneur skills and confidence in the students, the college create a cell called 'Entrepreneurship Development Cell'. 

Continuous seminars and key note sessions along with exhibitions have been conducted to instill real-time knowledge to the students. 



In this regard, a event 'Vaniga Vaibhav' was organised by the students through their 'Entrepreneurship Development Cell'. Colorful display of accessories, clothing, lip-smacking food snacks, varied cosmetics were all the items on display at the exhibit. 



Devika Ramesh, Chairperson of FICCI, Coimbatore Chapter in the presence of Dr.K.Chitra Principal of the college inaugurated the 'Vaniga Vaibhav', this morning.

 While addressing the students, Chief Guest, Devika Ramesh applauded the students for hosting such events and understanding the real-time technicalities involved in trading products. She emphasized that such events will boost the students, especially women to gain more confidence to face the real world, after their graduation. And, learning the skill sets of entrepreneurship at college is very appreciable, she said.  A women entrepreneur will possess confidence and she'd be strong to meet the hurdles ahead of her dauntlessly. Devika Ramesh also boosted the students by saying women needs to know to balance between her work and personal life. 'Undoubtedly, women are multi takers. Relentless focus and planning ahead will lead women entrepreneurs to the path of success', she said.



Dr.K.Chitra, Principal, advised the students to be organised and practice being so, right from their teens. 'Being organised right from a young age will help easing off things. Women, face the problem of multi-tasking as mostly the responsibility of organizing a family lies in the hands of the women. Learning how to organise, manage, create, execute things right from the college will transform them into string women and successful entrepreneurs. By conducting such exhibitions on their own, students are exposed to real-time product networking, marketing and prepare balance sheets'.

As a token of motivation, the students who make most profit through their stalls will be awarded with a surprise prize.
