Batlivala & Khanabhoy - A delectable Parsi cuisine awaits Coimbatoreans


How many of us have heard about 'Dhansak', sure to many of us it's an alien word. But from here on, Dhansak is no alien word to  Coimbatoreans.

How about a combination of meat slowly cooked with lentils and vegetables, alluring isn't it! And, that's Dhansak, a signature dish of the Parsi's!

This Parsi Restaurant & Cafe in Coimbatore is a unit of V M Hospitality, a growing hospitality chain founded by Vikram Mohan, a serial entrepreneur with a profound passion for food.



With already five well-established restaurants under its umbrella including Savya Rasa, a South Indian fine dine restaurant in Pune, Meena Tai's restaurant with Maharashtrian cuisine and Batlivala & Khanabhoy, an all day Parsi restaurants in Chennai.



After tasting success with all its ventures, this group has introduced the Batliwala & Khanabhoy - Parsi Restaurant & Cafe in Coimbatore.  This restaurant that is located in Red Fields,Race Course. The restaurant will be open to public from 14th January onwards.



This restaurant is spread over 2000 square feet and it is sure to take guests back to the Parsi cafes of yore. With a capacity to accomodate 52 guests at a time, this cafe cum restaurant will operate between 11 am to 11 pm from Tuesday to Sunday. Short snacks to filling meals this place will be a refreshing hang out place hand for all foodies,



The B&K menu will feature over 70 dishes that will showcase the culinary diversity of the Parsi Community in India. Much care has gone into planning the menu of this amazingly complex and culturally significant cuisine. The restaurant will serve signature dishes like lollypop na farcha, patrani machchi, dhansak, kheema pav, saur and tum na pulao, sali pper eedu, cupcakes, ravaiya, nariyal na dudh ma cauliflower. This all day dining menu offers a range of Parsi influenced signature burgers, signature Parsi floats and milk shakes.
