Man found dead in washroom of Hyderabad bound train at Coimbatore Junction

A Hyderabad bound train from Mangalore en-route Coimbatore made a brief halt at the Coimbatore Junction. One of the passengers on this train complained that the wash room in one of the compartments of this train continued to remain locked for a long time.

When one of the railway employees attempted to open the washroom door, it came to light that the door remained locked from inside. Following this, the railway employees forced open the door and found a man lying dead inside the wash room.

The railway police was alerted who rushed to the location. Upon enquiry, it came to light that the deceased was Selvam (49) from Cuddalore. It has also been reported that Selvam, a lorry driver by profession was ill for the last few months and he was on his way to Cuddalore. It is also suspected that Selvam could have died of a heart attack at 4.15 am while he went to use the wash room.
