Good response to GD Naidu Memorial Quiz


Vishnu Prashanth and Kavin Ayyapparaj of PSG College of Technology emerged winners in the G.D. Naidu Memorial Inter-Collegiate Quiz competition organised by the Rotary Club of Coimbatore in the city on Saturday.

Rotary Club of Coimbatorechartered in 1944, organised the inter collegiate quiz in memory of their charter member late G. D. Naidu at G.D. Auditorium.

Over 90 teams with two members each participated thus recording a wonderful response from the colleges in and around.

Eight teams qualified for the final round.

President of the club P. Padmakumar said that it was the wish of the club to honour a legend of the city while kindling the knowledge of the young minds of Coimbatore. Secretary of the club D. Namashivayam expressed happiness over the tremendous response that came from the students. Project chairman J. Ravi and director, youth service, K. Gunasegharan wanted to make it an annual event.
