Villu Pattu performance brought the curtains down on the Navaratri celebrations at Linga Bhairavi, Isha Foundation. Villu Pattu is the traditional folk art of Tamil Nadu. The team of artists headed by Selvakani took centre stage. At the concluding day of the nine-day grand Navaratri celebrations the J Sree Jayaraman G Group thoroughly entertained the devotees with their performance. The Dandiya Raas which is the traditional folk dance form of Gujarat was also performed.

Hundreds of devotees participated in the nine-day Navaratri celebrations at Linga Bhairavi. Local villagers too gathered in large numbers to participate in the last night of this festival.
Linga Bhairavi was decorated with Chandanam today. Several devotees witnessed the Abhisekham which took place at the Linga Bhairavi at 12.40 pm.
Today, on the occasion of Maha Navami, Sadhguru Shri Para Brahma Trust announced a scholarship of Rs 1.5 lakh to support the education of rural students. The annual scholarship is aimed at enhancing the socio-economic lives of the rural folk.

A press release from the Isha Foundation stated that tomorrow, October 11, on the occasion of Vijayadashami, a special annual initiation into Vidyarambham to initiate children into learning and knowledge will take place at Linga Bhairavi.
