“Social media has tremendous power. As BJP party members, loyalists, or supporters, it is important that we are all stayed connected through social media. In the Gujarat and Rajasthan elections, the BJP used social media wisely and it proved to be of big help in reaching out to people. We must take full advantage of the various platforms of social media in Tamil Nadu too,” Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Minister of State for Commerce, said at the meeting.

All of you must be active on social media. This will enable us to reach out to you in a personalized way. Also it will ensure that we are able to receive feedback and implement it,” Amit said.

In order to ensure prompt response, the BJP at the centre has appointed a team of dedicated professionals whose job is to take care of its social media presence. So, one can expect a prompt reply to emails, and regular live updates from the party on Facebook and Twitter from the party.
