The regional centre of the Tamil Nadu state judicial academy is all set to be inaugurated by Chief Justice of India, T S Thakur, on Sunday morning. The state of the art academy, built at a cost of 13.61crore will have an auditorium that can accommodate a maximum of 200 people, a library, a research library, two lecture halls, computer training centre and much more.

The academy will eliminate the need for judicial officers to travel to Chennai to get trained at the Tamil Nadu State Judicial Academy.

The newly constructed regional centre is located on Scheme Road at Race Course. The built-up area is 68,604sqft (ground floor + three floors).
