Rally against liquor

More than 1,000 students from various schools and colleges took out a rally against sale and consumption of illicit liquor and liquor addiction here on Wednesday.

Participating in the rally, students raised slogans against consuming alcohol as it is both injurious to health and the society.

Students also distributed pamphlets that explained the various health hazards caused by liquor.

The rally, which was flagged off by District Collector Archana Patnaik around 10.00 a.m. from the District Collectorate went via Huzur Road and LIC Road and ended in the VOC Park grounds.
