Man-animal conflict continues unabated. Another incident of elephant attack has been reported from Kovai Kutralam.

Karuppusamy, a tribal from Sadivayal village near Kovai Kutralam has been attacked by a Jumbo in the adjoining forest area today morning. He has sustained severe injuries in the attack.
