Peculiar way of protest at Collectorate

Today, the unprecedented protest by Periyarmani,a social activist from Kinathukadavu turned on public's attention at the collectorate.

He presented himself with a beggar bowl in his hand and a placard, which stated that he wants people to help him to develop the under developed government schools at rural areas. He alleged that the government has not allotted necessary funds for the development of the schools and hence he has decided to beg. The funds collected will be sent to the government through collectorate, he added.

His peculiar way of protest gathered public around the place and he was later arrested by police.
