Clear Skies on 100 feet road with overhead cables going underground

Work for making High Tension overhead power cables underground on 100 feet road will be started in two days.

 

The cables (110 KV HT line) from Power House to Avarampalyam (2.7kms) will go underground and the work will be supervised by electricity department.

 

Traffic will be blocked on one side of 100 feet road for digging huge pits for underground cable.

 

The aftermath of the project is still a question mark as it is a specialised work.

 

The estimated time to complete the 100 feet. road work is one month. Similar work will be undertaken on Nanjappa road after this work.

 

The overhead cables will be dismantled after the underground work. The total project will be done at the whooping cost of 19.4 crores.
