District Forest Officer (DFO) N. Sathish has said that speeches of experts delivered during conferences should be made into a book to help future generations.
Talking at the 100th Enviro Meet of Osai, a nature based NGO in Coimbatore, DFO said that such thought provoking suggestions and ideas would help promote new scientific methods in wildlife conservation.
Perur Atheenam Ilayapattam Marudhachala Adigalar who participated said that terrace gardening should be promoted to safeguard children from the diversions caused by social media. “This also helps in creating a green space in our homes,” he added.
Explaining about the event, K. Kalidas, President of Osai said that the event is being held since 2009. “Many ideas have been shared in the events conducted by Osai. “A lot of awareness has also been given to people,” he informed.
Forest Veterinarian N.S. Manoharan also participated in the event.
