“E way bill” under GST session for tax payer on January 24

In order to enlighten taxpayers on “E waybill” under GST, an enlightening session will be held on January 4th January 2018 at Suguna Kalyana Mandapam, Avinashi Road, Coimbatore.

In order to enlighten taxpayers on “E-way bill” under GST, an enlightening session will be held on January 24th 2018 at Suguna Kalyana Mandapam, Avinashi Road, Coimbatore.

The Joint Commissioners of Commercial Tax Department have agreed to depute their Deputy Commissioners and State Tax Officers to conduct the session and brief the procedural formalities through PowerPoint Presentation.

The Government has introduced E-Way Bill system for Interstate Road Transportation of goods under the GST regime.

The Interstate movement of goods beyond 10 kms with a value of Rs 50,000/- and above will mandatorily require an "E-Way Bill" from 1st February 2018.

Due to this, transporters and other taxpayers will not be required to visit any tax office or check post and under this system, the "E-Way Bill" can be generated electronically.

All the assesses registered under GSTIN may have doubts in complying with the "E-Way Bill" procedural formalities. The officials of State Government from Commercial Tax Department conduct sessions and interactions to explain the procedural formalities for compliance of "E-Way-Bill System".
