Coimbatore, Jan. 20

It was a rather heartbreaking scene for the local people who are living close to the Coimbatore City International Airport as a peacock was roaming in the area with an injured leg here today.

The bird was seen limping around the areas including Brindhavan Nagar and Airport premises.

Some of the people who saw this decided to seek help for the bird in social media and shot pictures and videos of the bird moving around.

Seemingly, the bird seemed to have fractured its leg and was limping around the vicinity on one leg.

The people who shot the video also requested officials from the forest department to capture and treat the bird for its injury which seems to hurt the bird much.
