A state-of-the-art indoor sports complex was declared open at PSGR Krishnammal College for Women (PSGRKC) as a part of the founders day and GRG birth centenary celebrations organised to honour G.R. Govindarajalu and Chandrakanthi Govindarajalu, the Founders of GRG Trust.

A state-of-the-art indoor sports complex was declared open at PSGR Krishnammal College for Women (PSGRKC) as a part of the founders day and GRG birth centenary celebrations organised to honour G.R. Govindarajalu and Chandrakanthi Govindarajalu, the Founders of GRG Trust.
The celebrations to honour the 100th birth anniversary of Mr. Govindarajalu began today at PSGRKC in the presence of students, faculty members and executive commitee members who took part in the event which re-called several nostalgic moments of the Founders.
K.P. Ramasamy, Chairman of KPR Mills Ltd inaugurated the sports complex.
Speaking at the event, Dr. R. Nandini, Chairperson of the PSGR Krishnammal College for Women said that "The indoor sports complex has been built at a cost of Rs. 8 crore and holds a capacity of 2000 viewers. The state-of-the-art sports complex would facilitate to host competitions at international standards. As a tribute to our Founder, we are planning to celebrate his centenary birth anniversary celebrations through the year".
Following which, dance and culturals were performed by students from PSGR Krishnammal College.
