CM Edapadi Palanisamy announces Rs.20 lakh solatium to the kin of slain BSF Jawan

Chief Minister Edapadi Palanisamy has announced a solatium of Rs.20 lakh to the family of BSF Jawan A. Suresh (41) who had lost his life in the line of duty in Jammu and Kashmir.

Chief Minister Edapadi Palanisamy has announced a solatium of Rs.20 lakh to the family of BSF Jawan A. Suresh (41) who had lost his life in the line of duty in Jammu and Kashmir.



Suresh was guarding the nation’s borders at RS Pora sector in Jammu and Kashmir when he lost his life to the unprovoked cross-border firing Pakistan territory on the night hours.

The cross-border firing is in violation of ceasefire which is in place in the sector 

DRO Durai Ravichandran DCP Lakshmi paid their respects to the body of the slain soldier which arrived in Coimbatore.

Suresh, a native of Dharmapuri was working as a Head Constable of 78th battalion of Border Security Force and had joined the services in 1995.
