Police case filed against three doctors of a private hospital for medical negligence in the city

The Kattur Police, who investigated the complaint of medical negligence on the part of a team of three doctors who have performed a surgery on a 4-year-old boy Vishnu has registered a case against them under section 377 of Indian Penal code.

The Kattur Police, who investigated the complaint of medical negligence on the part of a team of three doctors who have performed a surgery on a 4-year-old boy Vishnu has registered a case against them under section 377 of Indian Penal code.

Alleging medical negligence against the team of doctors, Vinoth Kumar of Palani, the parent of Vishnu, the affected boy has sought proper police investigation and urged the police to file an FIR against Dr. Dharmendra, Dr. Vinoth and Dr. Kannadasan who had performed the surgery, which led to post-operative complications.

The young boy had suffered complications and in whose stomach was found cotton and a cloth, which was removed by a second surgery after getting him admitted to a hospital in Tiruchy by his parents.

Four-year-old Vishnu was put under the knife for a kidney ailment, he suffered in a private hospital in Ramnagar in the city a good six months back.

But immediately after the surgery, the boy had developed stomach ache and was admitted to a private hospital in Tiruchy, where the cotton and cloth were removed by the doctors there.
