In order to create awareness on present dismal condition waterbodies including ponds and lakes in and around the city of Coimbatore, Siruthuli, the eco-warriors of the city have joined hands with Photo Boys and have organized photography contest as a part of Kovai Vizha 2018.
Over 50 contest entries from photography enthusiasts from various parts of Coimbatore have been received and it would be put on display from Jan 12-13 at Siruthuli office at Sungam bypass road.
The inauguration and price distribution of the photo display was held on Friday in which. Mylswamy COO Siruthuli, Mr. Kanagaraj MD-Photo boys and Mr. Chandrasekar Convener F3 (Forest First Forum) took part.
The gathering also helped in sharing of useful and informative news about the degraded condition of water bodies and the need to conserve them for posterity by Siruthuli.
