At present, the Tangedco had completed work for 61 km and that it was yet to dig roads for 21.15 km.
Of the 21.51 km, the Tangedco was yet to dig roads on over 19.65 km.
The Corporation has asked the power utility to expedite the work so that it could take up road restoration and road re-laying work.
Tenders floated
The sources said that for many of the roads where the Tangedco had taken up underground power cable laying work, it had floated tenders to re-lay the roads.
But, this could be taken up only after the power cable laying work was completed and road was restored.
With the South-West Monsoon only a fortnight or so away, the Corporation had sent the reminders so that the motorists are not affected by the damaged roads.
