Coimbatore, January 5
The Suparasnath Bhakti Mandal is organizing an open to all Jain Mela, on the 6th and 7th January 2018 at the Nehru Stadium the proceeds of which would help the needy women.
The Mandal would conduct “pujas” in the Jain temple along with singing devotional songs with popular instruments.

“We are celebrating 25 years of our “Mandal” by bringing in a mela and a lot of attractive games for the visitors to take part in and various stalls with unique products to choose from,” stated Mrs. Lata Bafna, one of the committee members of the Mandal.
The purpose to conduct the mela is to give an opportunity to women working from home to exhibit their wares and gain exposure through a wider clientele.

While noting that “there are a lot of women who have great talent but lacked a platform to display it, she said someone might be a great cook, but how do others know about it, thus we decided to do a mela, to give each woman an opportunity to showcase their talent and managerial skills. All the proceeds of this Mela would go towards empowering underprivileged women so that they can have a better life.” Expressed Hansa Bafna, a member of the Bhakti Mandal.
