Dr. M. Premsekhar, former Director, Crop Management, TNAU, Coimbatore, has been conferred the “Bharat Ratna Mother Teresa Gold Medal Award”. The award was given by former Justice K. Swami Durai.
Dr. K. Malaisamy, former Home Secretary, Tamil Nadu and Dr. Kalanidhi, former Vice-Chancellor of Anna University, participated in the function organized in Chennai.
The award instituted by Global Economic Progress and Research Association (GEPRA), New Delhi, under the category for contributions to “Individual Achievements and National Economic Growth” was given to crop management for his professional achievements.
