It was carried out with the support and expertise provided by ICLEI, an arm of Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and NGOs like 'Siruthuli' and Residents Awareness Association of Coimbatore (RAAC).

Encouraged by the successful implementation of the project in Ward 23, which has now got the distinction of Bin Free Ward in the City Corporation, Coimbatore Corporation has now extended the project to Ward 22 and Ward 24.
