BJP doomed to get less votes than NOTA even if PM Modi canvassed: TMC

Coimbatore, December 27

Even if Prime Minister Modi were to canvass in all the 234 assembly constituencies in Tamil Nadu, the BJP would not be in a position to get more votes than that was polled in NOTA (none of the above) in the RK Nagar bypoll, said Yuvaraj, President of Tamil Manila Congress (Youth wing) today.

Talking to the media here Yuvaraj said that MPs from Tamil Nadu should raise their voice against GAIL pipeline project, which is detrimental to the interests of Delta farmers. While demanding that the Central committee should visit all the Ockhi-affected areas and announce relief accordingly, he said that the in DMK more leaders were seen than the cadre.

However, Yuvaraj welcomed the anticipated political entry of actor Rajnikanth and exhorted the actor to lend his support to good politicians and parties.
