Police recovered the body of Kalikutti Gounder (75), a farmer, from his house at R.G. Pudur, near Peelamaedu here.
According to Peelamaedu Police, Kalikutti Gounder, who was living alone in his house, is suspected to have been murdered even as strangulation marks were found on his neck.
Police suspect that the farmer might have been murdered for gain, as he used to keep some money for farming purposes. The body was sent for post-mortem
