The police rescued two children who had been physically tortured by their parents here on December 19th. The police are in search of the parents who are missing.
A few days ago, the North Indian couple from Odisha moved into a house with their two children. It was reported that the parents have been physically torturing the children as the screams of the children were heard in the neighbourhood. When the neighbours said that they would report to the police about the couple who have branded their four-year old son, the couple fled leaving the children behind.
The four-year old boy and two-year old girl were rescued and are undergoing treatment at an orphanage at Anupparpalayam..
