Sakthi Ganesh, a Plus-Two student residing at Bhagat Singh Nagar in Periyanaicken palayam reportedly committed suicide by hanging in his house on Tuesday morning. It is suspected that he could have resorted to the extreme step over fear of poor performance in the board examinations.

His parents had gone out, and the boy was all alone at his house. His parents on returning home found him hanging. He was declared brought dead at a hospital. Later, the results showed that he had scored 821 marks out of 1,200.
