Coimbatore, Dec. 14
It’s highly impossible for one to travel to different parts of India just to buy the specialities each city is known for. Bringing in the exclusivities of various cities in India to Coimbatore is 'San Ga Mam Flea market', an event to be held on December 15 and 16.
The show will bring different tribal works of the craftsmen along. A live musical band to liven up the flea market, makes the show a must visit.
Conceptualised by the mother and daughter duo, Janaki and Anchana Badrinath, the San Ga Mam holds its forte in roping in budding women entrepreneurs with skilled craftsmanship from across the country for the first time in Coimbatore.
“We have travelled to many different locations in India, each place has its unique identity but not everyone is aware of it. Even if they are aware of it, it's difficult to procure tribal artworks. Hence, we have people from places like Puducherry, Madurai, Andhra Prakash, Kashmir who will put up stalls to showcase their creations,” said Janaki Badrinath.
So, don’t miss out on the exclusive collection of various skilled artists from India at the San Ga Mam flea market taking place at Kota/Naira, 114, 11th Street, Tatabad, in Coimbatore.
