Indo Tibetian Border Police security for counting centre at Government College of Technology

The Government College of Technology (GCT) which is the counting centre for the Assembly elections has been brought under the security cover of indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).

ITBP Commandant, Abhijit, along with the District Collector, Archana Patnaik, inspected the entire premises, for arranging a three-tier security, official sources said.

The EVMs, after May 16 elections, will be kept at GCT and the ITBP personnel took position as the first tier security, they said.

The second and third tier will be arranged by utilising the police and other paramilitary forces, they said.
