Over 1000 police personnel take part in grievance day

Coimbatore, Nov 18: As many as 1,242 police personnel from the western region took part in the grievance day organised at the police training school grounds here today.



Police personnel from eight districts - Coimbatore, Erode, Dharmapuri, Tirupur, Salem, Trichy and the Nilgiris submitted their grievance petitions to Mr. T.K. Rajendran, Director General of Police and head of the state police force.



Out of the petitions received, 510 were received from the Coimbatore division. The DGP ordered the officials to initiate speedy action with regard to the petitions.
