Coimbatore, Nov. 15
State Vice-President of BJP Mrs Vanathi Srinivasan has alleged that the city administration remained apathetic towards the problems faced by the public in terms of civic amenities and infrastructure.
She was talking to the media after her party cadres fixed the potholes in the streets in Gandhipuram area. They also filled the potholes in Thiruvallur Nagar using cement.

Mrs. Srinivasan said: "Not only this road, most of the roads in the city are full of potholes. Accidents due to bumpy roads have become a day-to-day affair. People of all wards are facing civic issues in different forms. And, the city corporation remains apathetic".
She also lamented that the funds allocated for city's infrastructural development and smart city project have not been used appropriately.
"We could feel the depth of corruption in the state" she added.
