ASFASMTN to honour teaching and academic administrators of self-financing colleges

Coimbatore, Nov. 14

Since its inception in 2003, the Association of Self-financing Arts, Science and Management Colleges of TamilNadu (ASFASMTN) has been focusing on bringing together all self-financing arts, science and management colleges under one roof and addressing their issues by taking them to the notice of Government and related authorities.

On November 25, ASFASMTN will organise a one-day state level conference 'AVANTEACH'. The conference will cover subjects like curriculum reforms & socio-industrial relevance, outcome-based educational system, financial management in colleges, best practices in higher education, and accreditation standards.

On the same day, ASFASMTN will confer awards under various categories like Lifetime Achievement Award 2017, Secretary of the Year, Best Faculty Award, and Outstanding Service Award (for Principal). It is to be noted that for the first time ASFASMTN will be giving these awards.

The last date for submitting applications is November 15. The candidates who top in the presentation and interview will be awarded during the conference to be held on Nov 25 this year at ITC Welcom Hotel, West Club Road, Coimbatore.
