Members of the Coimbatore Chapter of Young Indians (Yi) are to visit Israel as a part of their Yi Global Excellence Mission between Nov 11 and 17 .
As many as 16 delegates from across India would be visiting top industries and Start-up accelerators in Technology, Agriculture, Education and Cyber Security domains in Israel.
Briefing media here, S. Prasanna Krishna, Chair of Yi Coimbatore, said that the team would participate in the Indo-Israel Innovation Forum meeting. “Many young business leaders and entrepreneurs from here will be gathering inputs from International business models there,” he said.
Claiming that the two countries were similar in many areas, he added that it would be ideal for Indian entrepreneurs to collaborate with Israelites and learn from them. “There are also possibilities for collaborations for students to take up internships and summer schools to get exposed to the Israeli innovative environment,” he opined.
The delegates are to interact with Government officials, founders and directors of various organisations.
“The objective of this mission is to provide a great learning platform to learn and understand the best practices adopted by globally renowned companies and also learn how they have successfully managed to evolve business excellence models in their respective sectors,” said Mr. Krishna adding that Israel delegation would also be hosted in Coimbatore by Yi.
