Awareness marathon for 100 percent polling

More than 500 police personnel and athletes participated in the awareness marathon carried out by the District Administration here on Monday.

While, District Collector and District Electoral Officer Archana Patnaik flagged off the marathon, Election Observers Jothi Kailash, Bharath Chandra Saha, City Police Commissioner A. Amal Raj, Superintendent of Police R.V. Ramya Bharathi, personnel from the Central Reserve, State Armed Reserve and athletes also participated in the marathon.

The marathon, which started from the Nehru Stadium, reached back to the stadium via LIC Office, Avinashi Road, K.G. Theatre and Race Course Road.
