TWAD launches mobile van to address water issues

Coimbatore, Nov. 7 : The Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage board (TWAD) has launched a mobile van to attend to the water-related grievances of the people instantly. 



It is equipped with facilities to repair damaged  drinking water pipelines and attend to issues that arise during monsoon rains. These mobile vans will traverse through rural areas in the district to create awareness on dengue and other monsoon-related ailments among people.

The mobile van was flagged off this morning here by District Collector T.N. Hariharan. "This mobile van would ensure uninterrupted supply of drinking water to the people and the facility to attend water leakages instantly would largely control wastage of water", he said.
