Coimbatore, Nov 7 : A barn owl was rescued from the office of the District Superintendent of Police in the Nilgiris on Tuesday.
The owl that had taken shelter in the SP office was rescued by an employee, Ramesh.
According to sources, these nocturnal birds largely live in plains and hunt rats. The rescued owl was released into the reserve area.
