Rajesh Govindarajulu, an author, heritage enthusiast, and a veritable authority on Coimbatore’s history, will host “LegaCity”, a weekly column on the heritage and legacy of the city every Tuesday.

Though a jeweller by lineage, Rajesh is better known as a historian. Passionate about the study of history, heritage and Indian religion, he has done and continues to do research on the past and present of Coimbatore.

He has been on the Governing Council of Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH), and Committee of Crafts Council of Tamil Nadu, besides holding other portfolios at the national and state levels.  He is also on the governing council of several colleges.

Rajesh is most sought after for his expertise, and so has had the opportunity to share this proficiency in the form of books, in journals, newspapers and also on radio.

He will bring to you fascinating aspects of the known and unknown facets of Coimbatore every Tuesday.
