Mother and two children killed in gruesome accident

Coimbatore, Nov. 3: In a gruesome road accident, three people of the same family, including two children, were killed.

On Thursday, a family of four people, Ramanathan, his wife Sathya and their children, Dwarika (8) and Mithun (6) were travelling from Tirupur to Dharapuram after attending a funeral of a relative. 

Their car collided head-on with a truck en route from Palani to Tirupur killing three of them on the spot. Ramanathan, who sustained severe injuries, was rushed to the Government Hospital at Dharapuram and then to a multi-specialty hospital in Coimbatore.
